Measuring with consent

Sparsa measures opens and clicks only for people who agreed to it. Everyone else gets a newsletter with no tracking pixel and plain links.

Counted for every recipient

Sparsa needs these results to deliver your newsletters and to keep your list clean.

How measurement works

  1. 01

    Without consent, nothing is measured

No pixel and no redirect: links go straight to their targets. That recipient appears only in delivered, bounces, complaints and unsubscribes.

  2. 02

    Opens are estimates

Some e-mail programs load images automatically, so a message can count as opened without being read; others block images and hide real opens. Treat the open rate as a trend, not a fact.

  3. 03

    Withdrawing takes one click

Anyone can stop measurement on the preference page. Unsubscribing from every topic stops it too, and the stored measurements are deleted at once.

  4. 04

    Your organisation decides as well

Each customer can switch measurement off completely. Then the box is not shown and nothing is measured.

  5. 05

    What is never kept

IP addresses and raw browser details of opens and clicks are never stored. Measurements per person are kept for 13 months; after that only campaign totals remain.

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not identify you; we see only totals such as page views, referring sites, countries and device types. Nothing else loads from other sites: no other analytics, scripts or fonts. If you switch the theme, your browser remembers the choice on your device; it is never sent to us.
